Comments This a good proposal, right for the location and the zoning
district, with an attractive historic design. Unfortunately, an
early color rendering showed a building of unpainted brick with
black everywhere else. It appeared that everything not brick -
porches, windows, doors, railings, dormers, trim - would be
black. I hope the board will urge the applicant to consider a
brighter, more attractive color scheme that would better
highlight the attractive architectural features of the building and
make it an aesthetic asset to the neighborhood.
