AJA ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING DID NOT ORIGINALLY DESIGN THIS BUIILDING. THIS STRUCTURE IS EXISTING. THIS BUILDING WAS BUILT IN 1993.
THIS SET OF DRAWINGS IS PART OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROJECT REFERENCED ABOVE. THE SPECIFICATIONS LISTED ON
THE COVER SHEET AND THE CONTRACTORS CONTRACT WITH THE OWNER CONSTITUTE THE REMAINDER OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. THE CONTRACTOR MUST
READ AND FOLLOW THE DRAWINGS AND THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROJECT.
THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO FOLLOW SPECIFICATIONS PROVIDED BY OWNER. OWNER SUPPLIED SPECIFICATIONS TO BE REVIEWED BY THE ARCHITECT.

THE WORK COMPLETE, WHETHER SHOWN OR NOTED ON THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS OR NOT.
CONTRACTOR SHALL FIRST REVIEW THE SUBMITTAL FOR GENERAL CONFORMANCE WITH THE SPECIFIED
PRODUCTS AND THEN SUBMIT TO THE ARCHITECT. SUBMISSION TO THE ARCHITECT INDICATES THAT THE
CONTRACTOR HAS FINISHED THEIR REVIEW AND HAS DEEMED THE SUBMITTAL COMPLETE AND READY.
CONTRACTOR IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING QUANTITIES AND TAKE OFFS. THE ARCHITECT'S REVIEW IS

CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO SCHEDULE AND ATTEND THE FOLLOWING PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETINGS WITH THE
APPROPRIATE SUB-CONTRACTOR NO LESS THAN 15 DAYS BEFORE THE START OF THE TRADE. THE PURPOSE OF THE
MEETINGS IS TO REVIEW THE SCOPE OF WORK AND ADDRESS CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS BEFORE THEY START IN THE
FIELD. MEETINGS WILL BE HELD AT AJA OFFICES , EXCEPT FOR THE PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING.
PRE-EXCAVATION MEETING: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE A SURVEYOR STAKE OUT THE BUILDING CORNERS ON
THE SITE AND ESTABLISH A BENCHMARK FOR THE FIRST-FLOOR FINISH ELEVATION. THE OWNER AND ARCHITECT
SHOULD BE NOTIFIED TO REVIEW STAKEOUT WITH THE CONTRACTOR ON SITE.

CONFORMANCE WITH THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS, THE CONTRACTOR IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING
THE PROJECT IS BUILT PER THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. NEITHER THE ARCHITECT NOR THE CLIENT ARE LIABLE
FOR ITEMS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN OVERLOOKED DURING INSPECTIONS. CONTRACTOR TO NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT

ABANDONED AND NOT INTENDED FOR REUSE. PREPARE SURFACE FOR NEW FINISH.
ITEMS REMOVED DURING DEMOLITION ARE TO REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF THE OWNER
UNLESS OTHERWISE DIRECTED IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS OR BY THE OWNER.
UTILITIES RENDERED USELESS BY THE DEMOLITION SHALL BE REMOVED TO ITS POINT OF
SUPPLY. CAP UTILITIES RENDERED OBSOLETE BELOW FLOOR LEVEL, ABOVE CEILING, OR
BEHIND WALL FINISHES UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
RESTORE ANY EXISTING UTILITIES DISTURBED DURING THE COARSE OF CONSTRUCTION AND
NOT INDICATED FOR REMOVAL.
CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ALL TEMPORARY BARRIERS
AND PROTECTION TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF DUST AND DEBRIS. COORDINATE WITH
OWNER ABOUT THE ERECTION OF ANY BARRIERS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
REMOVE DEBRIS FROM DEMOLITION AREA AS IT IS PRODUCED. CONTRACTOR IS TO CLEAN
