Comments We are writing in regards to the proposed condo building on the
corner of Park Pl and Cottage St. We feel this structure is too
big and does not add or blend into the fabric of this
neighborhood. One recent letter writer stated that "years ago a
hotel stood at that site and looked a lot like the picture on the
application". The neighborhood has changed since that time

somewhere to go during track season are buying these
properties. They don't live there and will not add anything to the
neighborhood. The condo building on Union Ave is an example
of that, it is like a ghost town, you never see anyone there. A
plan B is needed, A smaller structure that matches the
character of the neighborhood. Several single family homes
would be better than the "hotel". The Waldorf school at the end
of White St. is almost unrecognizable, the historic building is
cloaked by two large garages on either side. There is no room
for green space. I guess if you are paying 2 million for a condo
you expect a garage. If you look around the neighborhood you
will see most of us don't have a garage and we do just fine. We
are asking you to decline this application. Thank you, Susan
and Brian Rodems
