Project Address Park Place at Cottage Street Comments My wife and I have lived at 35 Park Place for over 40 years. Unfortunately, we were on vacation from April 29 to May 9 and thus had not received the notification letter in time to file a comment or attend the May 8 hearing. However, I feel strong enough that I want to join my friends and neighbors to oppose the project. The construction planned is too big and will harm this quiet neighborhood. I need not repeat the arguments expressed at the hearing or the written comments, which we viewed online. The only supporters did not live in the neighborhood and appeared to be a friend or relative of the landowners. The owners have not been good stewards of the property since purchasing it. They immediately installed a tall fence, obscuring the entire property. They failed to remove snow from the sidewalk, in violation of city code. They allowed bushes to overgrow onto the sidewalk.
