Project Address 36 Hyde Street Comments I’ve lived on the West Side of Saratoga Springs for 8 years now. As a retired real estate lawyer and long-standing Zoning Board committee member in my former hometown, I am truly gobsmacked by the 36 Hyde St. build from start to finish and am failing to understand just how this secondary dwelling was constructed with a 77% reduction in the first place. Was a variance granted for this? If new owners wish to make this claim on record, they might want to obtain copies of approved plans that can support said claim. The bottom line is that this board must insist on maintaining zoning precedent by uphold this denial, as building on all available space continues in the West Side UR-2 district.
