Comments I am writing to express my strong support for the Park Place
and Cottage Street, proposed 6-unit condominium development
in downtown Saratoga. This thoughtfully designed project is not
only architecturally beautiful, but also aligned with the city’s
vision for smart, sustainable growth.
The proposed location is currently a vacant lot, and
transforming it into high-quality residential housing will enhance

projected to sell for approximately $2 million, this development
will significantly increase the surrounding property values and
generate meaningful tax revenue for the city—benefiting local
schools, infrastructure, and public services.
Additionally, this project respects existing zoning regulations
and integrates seamlessly into the character and charm of
downtown Saratoga. It promotes responsible development by
utilizing a space that is already designated for this type of use,
rather than pushing development into less appropriate or more
environmentally sensitive areas.
I understand that some neighbors have expressed concerns,
but I believe this project presents more benefits than
drawbacks. It brings economic vitality, architectural beauty, and
thoughtful growth to our community—without overburdening
resources or altering the historic character of the neighborhood.
I hope the Board will approve this project and support its
positive impact on Saratoga Springs.
Respectfully,
Billie McCann
