Comments I am writing to urge the Board to please consider the scope and
scale of this project with relation to the neighborhood character.

building does not fit with the character of the neighborhood.
Saratoga is becoming too filled with unattractive brick buildings
that all look the same. If we say we cherish and celebrate our
unique and historical character, we cannot continue to destroy
it with homogenous enormous buildings that ruin the
streetscape simply for the financial benefit of a small number of
people. I feel strongly that in order to maintain the
neighborhood feel and reduce impact, that this lot would be
more suited for either two single family homes, or a more
uniquely designed set of three row-houses or something along
those lines. A more attractive and unique structure with only
four units instead of six would even be preferable to this
proposal. It is too imposing for the surroundings and too much
density.
