My Siblings and I were very lucky to have grown up on Cottage Street. It is a small, quiet and safe street with very little traffic. Ideal for families and children. We know, and are close to our neighbors. It is this kind of neighborhood and community that have always made Saratoga Springs the special and unique place that it is. 5/8/25, 9:25 AM Mail - Mark Graham - Outlook https://outlook.office365.com/mail/inbox/id/AAQkAGIxYTcxODdiLTE4ZmUtNDdlMy05MTNlLTA4ZjY5NTFhMDAzMQAQAC%2F3hLruu6ZMmKhWaI%2…1/2 The scope and nature of this proposed project will do detrimental damage and harm to the environment, peace and safety of this neighborhood and community. Looking at the plans it appears that the entrance to the parking area will be on Cottage street, almost directly across the street from where my parents live. This will dramatically increase traffic and noise on what is a very small street. I also observed that the project is very close to two of the historic homes in the area: 23 Park place and 36 White street. I am surprised that placing a large condominium structure in such close proximity to these beautiful historic homes is being considered at all. Especially in a city where we take so much joy and pride in the preservation of our beautiful history architecture. I’m not saying development shouldn’t happen, but the size and scope of this particular project is much too large for the environment you are proposing to pace it is, and such a proposition illustrates just how little knowledge of and care the developer has for this neighborhood and community. There are better ways to develop this lot and I urge you to consider them for the sake of the neighborhood Attach Photo (optional)Field not completed. Email not displaying correctly?
