Comments Thank you to the board.
I've lived in Saratoga since 1995. Caroline Street is precious,
and Sperry's was dear to us all. Our historic downtown, and
how we develop it, makes or breaks us.

surrounding buildings. As the plans stand now, such a building
would tower over and devastate this quaint and historic block of
downtown. They were given a chance to meaningfully revise

Is this even the right developer? Will you/we regret not pushing
for a plan that is truly a win for the community and not just for
the developer? Once it's approved and built it's too late - it's

Please: Too often we fall prey to an unconscious assumption.
You/we do not have to please the developers - they need to
please us to have the privilege of building in our community.
You, as the DRB, can ensure this - please help. We are
counting on you.
Without exception these are the sentiments of everyone and
every conversation I've encountered.
Thank you
