Project Address 30-30 1/2 Caroline Street Comments I need to comment again on the “new” proposal for the construction project involving a historic and beloved restaurant - Sperry’s. It seems from each rendering submitted to the committee, the owner of this property wants the condos, and doesn’t know how to deal with the existing historical building that exists on this property. Again, this new rendering shows a “wrap-around” concept - this time with a set-back. You continually try to find a way to build around it…no matter what you do, you are diminishing the important, historical value - which is Sperry’s.
