We Make Great Strides to Sides Upon arrival of the home a crew member will cover any plants or bushes with a breathable mesh netting system. The crew will then install our siding poles and nets to start the removal of the old siding. All debris will be placed in our dumpsters and hauled away. A porter john will be on site throughout the period of your job for our crew to use. ESTIMATE/CONTRACT -Any area that is being worked on will be roped off for safety purposes. Use safety cones and caution tape. • The crew will need access to the breaker box, to be able to turn the power off and on. -The crew will need access to power on the house to be able to charge batteries and operate power tools. -The crew will inspect all plywood and flashing underneath the old siding to insure nothing is damaged and make sure everything is structurally sound. Any plywood or lumber that needs to be replaced will be an additional charge-$135 (1/2"), $150 (5/8"), $165 (3/4"). We will replace any damaged flashing with new anti-corrosion metal at an additional charge- $10/ft. This is the easiest time to access and replace any damaged flashing where the siding meets your roof. The crew will then go through and re-nail any nails that may have popped durning the removal of old siding. -The crew will seal any gaps between your windows and doors on your home. This helps seal your home from heat loss and helps keep your home energy efficient. -Once inspections of flashing and decking of the home are completed, we will then install a water resistant barrier on the home where there is any exposed wood, this weather resistant barrier helps defend against moisture buildup and air penetration into your home. This is crucial in keeping your home energy efficient. -Next up the crew will install starter strip around the entire house. This is where the siding will start and helps keep an accurate and level starting point. Once the crew has finished the installation of the starter strip we will then install new inside and outside corner post, next we will install J-Channel around all windows, doors, and where the siding meets the soffit. We will install under sill trim under all windows and soffit lines, this ensures your end piece of siding will not come off. The crew will then install your new Certainteed siding with 2" nail fasteners or approved staple fasteners. -Any doors or windows will get new z-bent anti-corrosion metal over the top of them, this helps protect water from entering the home. -Any windows or doors that need to be wrapped in anti corrosion metal will be $300 per window/door. -Any J-blocks, hose bibs, fresh air or dryer vents will be replaced. -Additional layers- $60 per square -We use Certainteed as our siding manufacturer.
