In the matter of the application

involving Historic review of exterior modifications and additions to an existing structure and carriage house within the Urban
Residential-3 (UR-3) District, tax parcel # 165.60-2-6, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance Article 240 -
13.9 Architectural Review Applicability and Approval Standards, the Design Review Board issues the following decision on April
9, 2025:
Approve the plans with the following conditions:
The proposed changes to the driveway façade/southern elevation are not included in the approval. Applicant to submit
revised drawings for this elevation.
The proposed changes to the rear façade/west elevation are approved with the condition that all-wood replacement
windows be used on the second floor and the existing window be reused on the addition.
The proposed changes to the carriage house are approved with the condition that all-wood windows be used.

motion to approve made by R DuBoff, seconded by L DiCarlo; passed 6-0
As a result of this decision, the applicant:
may proceed with the plans as approved
