Comments With regard to "30-30 ½ Building Expansion" project number is
20240720, I object to the design. It doesn't fit in at all with the
neighborhood. I work and live downtown (96 Lake Avenue, a
Queen Anne Victorian built in 1899 and preserved with love
and care) --and this building proposed is an eyesore. The
reason people want to visit and to move here is because we
have preserved our buildings, in a delightful and responsible
way, which honors our past. The developers can do better. The

building should fit in by reducing the height by a story and
breaking up the proposed mass of bricks into different looking
buildings which look like they belong instead of sticking out.
