Project Address 182 Grand Avenue Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 Comments I am vehemently opposed to the granting of a use variance for this property. My home was a former multifamily home near this house that I converted back to single family use years ago. The building at 194 Grand Avenue is in the process of changing from a multifamily structure to a conforming structure. The ZBA's efforts towards turning this neighborhood away from carved up multifamily dwellings back to single family structures has dramatically imroved the condition of the neighborhood 2/27/25, 4:18 PM Mail - Mark Graham - Outlook https://outlook.office365.com/mail/inbox/id/AAQkAGIxYTcxODdiLTE4ZmUtNDdlMy05MTNlLTA4ZjY5NTFhMDAzMQAQALoA3DAytZxBt84Ic2mKIYk%3D 1/2 since I moved here in 1999. Allowing an owner a use variance would be a step backwards for this neighborhood and should not be done. This home has been unoccupied for years. It is great that it recently sold and a new owner is going to do something with the property. It needs to be as a single family home. The property has lost its exemption to exist as a multifamily home in this neighborhood. It should not be reinstated. There are enough old nonconforming former multi family homes in this neighborhood. We need fewer not more. Attach Photo (optional)Field not completed. Email not displaying correctly?
