Rooted in nostalgia yet driven by innovation, we create a welcoming space where exceptional ingredients, warm hospitality, and a vibrant community come together. Our mission is simple: to celebrate the classics, elevate the experience, and set a new standard— one unforgettable meal at a time. `i/I / V • { TRATTORIA i ■ s i s e .IIs I s 3 s - f The front fapade of 21 Phila Street isin need of updates to enhance both its appearance and its contribution to the historic streetscape. The awning, which remains from Ravenous despite the business having closed over five years ago, is weathered and tattered. The exterior paint is faded and in need of refreshing, and the windows show signs of neglect. Additionally, a residential-style air conditioning unit faces the street, detracting from the building's overall aesthetic. These elements currently diminish the curb appeal, but with thoughtful improvements, the fapade can be enhanced to better reflect the charm and character of Saratoga Springs. Palo-, + ' i I Our proposed improvements aim to enhance both the building's aesthetic and its contribution to the surrounding streetscape. We plan to remove the existing residential-style air conditioning unit and replace it with an attractive glass window, allowing for more natural light in the dining room. The windows will be refreshed and cleaned, and a sleek new branded awning will be installed slightly higher than the current one to improve visibility and light flow. The awning will also wrap around the corner, increasing branded visibility for guests approaching from Phila and Putnam Streets. Additionally, we propose removing the worn-down benches and updating the exterior sconces with new fixtures in the same style. These thoughtful yet impactful updates will not only enhance the appeal of 21 Phila Street but also contribute positively to the overall charm of the block. ` 4 / /00 / A(,a CUSTOMA : RFRAME r 44 In c h es HEIGHT JIN) - f f • Awning Mounting Methodology The awning will be mounted to the masonry/concrete faqade using expansion anchors or wedge anchors with a minimum 3-4" penetration into solid concrete or masonry. Heavy-duty steel or aluminum brackets will be used to support the awning frame, ensuring structural integrity and stability. To prevent water intrusion at connection points, sealing washers and high- quality caulking will be applied. The awning will be wall-mounted, with brackets securely fastened into the building's structural components. This method provides a strong, durable installation while maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of the building. o w ooa Viscusi's Aluminum Products, Inc. t t t Q QQ 858 Albany St. t Schenectady, NY 12307 Phone 518-377-1344 t Fax 518-377-1344 www.viscusis.com Windows Awnings 2/4/2025 To: Zachary Denham zac@bocagechampagnebar.com Subject: Awning Estimate Zachary, Thank you for considering Viscusi's for the Awning project. If it is determined that the mural does not hold historical significance, we propose the following options for updating this side of the fapade: 411 MEOW w7i 112 U1 t n F 6 4J•_ r, s —r 17L, C' vs fr r A _..rc. r'.Asr+w,.'sa,2n`;ner,.,,; _„ac,...asca✓.!s.„..,..:...,srs.:..*,,..r.w.rz,. ,...e....,t< _ d _. .. y pa r leo;* rl M F i Option 1: Paint over the existing mural with the building's exterior color and incorporate a 'ghost sign'—a faded, vintage-style rendering of the Standard Fare brand. This approach would create the impression that the signage has always been part of the building's history, subtly revived to blend seamlessly with the historic character of Saratoga Springs. Option 2: Simply paint over the mural in the exterior color to create a clean, cohesive look that aligns with the rest of the building's fapade. Both options are intended to enhance the overall aesthetic while respecting the building's surroundings and contributing positively to the streetscape. 2/7/25,3:57 PM Sunbrella Awning/Marine#4644-0000 46"Charcoal Grey(Standard Pack 60 Yards)I Trivantage Sunbrella° Awning / Marine 46" Charcoal Grey 4644-0000 Charcoal Grey Item #874644 c pricing, inventory, Gain access to 'cing,p i ent ry,and onlin ordering by becoming a customer today.
