SUBMIT COMMENTS REGARDING CITY PROJECTS
Thank you for submitting your comments. Your feedback will be forwarded to the
City's Planning Department and Land Use Board members. NOTE: Comments
submitted later than 12:00 noon on the day before the Land Use Board meeting
may not be reviewed prior to their meeting. All comments will be added to the
project file in the Planning Department.

Comments Because we are unable to attend the February 10, 2025 Zoning
Board of Appeals meeting in person, we would like to have the
following questions/issues addressed. If possible, we would
appreciate responses in writing.
Has the property been surveyed?
According to our survey, the property lines on Fifth Avenue do
not run at right angles to the street.

We want assurance that the construction fence and any new
plantings will not encroach over the property line, as some of
the current plantings do?
What is the small square shown by the Bilco door? If it is a
Jacuzzi, we request a privacy fence and/or 6' plantings be
required.
The generator and air conditioning units are not shown on the
drawings. Where will they be located?
The existing gas grill, fed by an underground gas line, is not
shown on the drawings. Where will it be located?
What is the purpose of the “carriage house” to be built at a later
date?
Will it be a garage or is it intended as an apartment or rental
unit? If it is to be used for and apartment or rental, we object as
that is not in the character of the neighborhood. What utilities
are being run to the “carriage house” area?
Is the current shed remaining?
Is a fence being put up around any portion of the property?
If so, what type? Privacy or something more open?
