As we approach the next meeting, I need clarity on several critical issues that significantly affect my home, property, and family. 12/12/24, 9:52 AM Mail - Julia Destino - Outlook https://outlook.office365.com/mail/inbox/id/AAQkADI5NDIzZGRiLTQwNjEtNGM1MS05ZmQxLTUyZTNkMzFiZDJiZQAQAKwdSY1Vt0lHojducG3C9hg…1/2 While I appreciate Stephanie Ferrando's efforts to explain some aspects of the process on Monday morning, there remains a troubling lack of transparency and consistency. Despite assurances that there is "no actual plan" for this property, I have witnessed crews marking trees, staking the ground, and initiating preparatory work. This raises significant questions: Why are trees closest to my home marked for removal while others farther away are left standing? What criteria are being used for these decisions without a finalized plan? Additionally, a newly placed stake appears to mark what is presumed to be the end of my property line. However, a recent survey of my property does not align with this. I have attached the survey for your review and request clarification on whether these property lines are accurate. If discrepancies exist, additional time is needed to resolve them before any further action is taken. Stephanie mentioned plans to mark the swale, yet this has not been done. It is unclear how decisions about tree removal are being made without knowing the swale's placement. For example, a massive oak tree on our property line is potentially at risk (please see images of our beautiful tree attached). Any disturbance to its root system could compromise its health, and no one has provided assurances that this tree will survive the proposed work. This tree, along with the surrounding woods, was a significant factor in our decision to purchase this home and remains integral to our property’s value and environment. Furthermore, this uncertainty jeopardizes our family's plans for a long-awaited home renovation... ***(Please find the full letter, images and survey attached)*** Attach Photo (optional)Saratoga Springs Planning Board.pdf Email not displaying correctly?
