It seems clear that this is being rushed through in December so that it can avoid the potential protection of the 2025 Wetlands law, which specifically protects small wetlands. I respectfully ask that the decision is adjourned for a few months to see whether the wetland is protected, particularly in light of the fact that there is no actual plan for land development at this point other than just making it "shovel ready" with no actual buyer in sight. Has anyone from the city checked to see if this wetland would be protected in just a few weeks? Below is a summary outline of the new wetland regulations for your review.
