Comments City Planners and Land Use Board, I live in the Central
Ave/Outlook neighborhood that would be impacted by the
aforementioned project for new Development in the
Washington/West Ave. area. I was well aware of the mixed
Commercial Residential Zoning when I purchased my home

and am not in anyway against new development in our city or
for a landowner to develop the land they own. But the recent
239 Washington Land Disturbance issue has me concerned. It
seems possible that the development could remove the forest
buffer our neighborhood enjoys between our streets and the
increasingly busy West Ave. Removing that vegetation would
dramatically alter the feel of our neighborhood including the
visual aesthetic, natural noise barrier and shade those trees
offer. It also feels like the desire for the owner to make the lot
"shovel ready" allows the land to be altered with no future plan
in place to consider. We have already experienced this problem
with the long vacant lot on Washington between Saratoga
Vision and Mohrs Service Center. Thank you for your kind
consideration of my concerns.
