I have attached a photo of what the yard looks like after heavy rain, which is already a problem. The present owners already have two large cars and a golf cart, and with an additional house on the site, I assume there would be two more cars, making a total of five cars parking about a foot from my windows. For some years the property was in use as an Airbnb, and the rowdy renters caused many police visits to this property and much disturbance to me and other neighbors in the middle of the night. When I bought my house 11 years ago, I was told by the city in no uncertain terms that I could not renovate to rent the small one-bedroom apartment over my garage due to the ordinance against these auxiliary rentals. I hope the city isn’t now going to approve this huge complex, half of which will be used as a rental. I have no objection to the owner putting in a pool and addition to his home, but I hope I am not going to have to live next to Motel 6.
