Board of Directors The New England Congregational Society built the Romanesque front-gable church 1900. In 1986 the church was converted into eight condominiums. It is a contributing building to the East Adam N. Favro Side Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places. President James Gold The Historic Review Standards of the Historic Review Ordinance are to A. Preserve rather than Vice President remove, B. Repair rather than replace, C. Promote historical accuracy, and D. Recognize the significance of historic time periods. Cindy Spence • Materials and details should be similar to, or complement, the primary structure. James Kettlewell The Foundation does not object to the proposed minor addition. While typically different materials emeritus should be used to distinguish an addition from the historic structure, in this particular instance the Foundation does not believe that there are any viable alternatives and does not object to the use of Executive Director stone. However, it is critical that the stone and mortar closely match the existing historic stone Samantha Bossharl and mortar. The Foundation respectfully requests that the applicant provide samples of the stone mherp to be used prior to approval.
