I would like the board to consider the implications of preparing a site with (supposedly) no planned building - what is the rush? Is this proposal, which states a start date of demolition in Novemeber, a chance to get ahead of a new ruling? Once decimated this land will not be able to be restored. I also would ask the Board to change the present notification of neighboring properties rules. Apparently only actual building proposals require notification - land disturbance does not. If we had not been following the planning board agendas our neighborhood most likely would not have learned about this proposal til it was too late to state our concerns and try to protect our homes. This is a rule that most definitely needs to be changed. Lastly, we invite the Board to visit the site and neighboring properties.
