It is our intent to provide paving along the side of the garage for golf cart access. The submitted plans indicate a 7-foot wide paved path with an approximate area of 200 square feet. In consideration of the neighbor's concern for mitigating potential runoff, we proposed the following measures: 1. Explore the option of reducing the amount of paved area at this location to +/- 150 square feet (25% reduction) 2. Explore the option for using permeable pavers or permeable asphalt along the side of the garage 3. Explore the option for constructing a low planted berm along the side of the home that will direct surface water to the rear yard of 93 Fifth Avenue. Additionally, it should be noted that this cart path is located along the gable end wall of the garage. As a result, any paving in this area would not cause stormwater runoff from the roof of 93 Fifth Avenue to drain into the neighbor's property. The owners of 93 Fifth Avenue are committed to being good neighbors and will work with the owner of 95 Fifth Avenue in good faith to assure construction of the proposed additions will not cause additional stormwater to drain onto the neighboring property. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. */ 1 4 Michael tuck, AIA Partner 468 Broadway Saratoga Springs,New York 12866 p 518.580.8818 w balzertuck.com
