Our records show that Ch.auncey Perry was granted a variance. on October 13, 1971, to operate a taxi office and garage on premises No. 15 West Harrison Street. The plot plan accompanying that zoningappeal shows the buil.ding to be one foot nine inches from each side lot line. We have no reason to believe that these f igures are inaccurate. Also, I have personally verified. the scope of the work, which is nearing completion, and� �'ind it to consist of the following: demolition of the deteriorated two-story wood frame structure that fronted on West Harrison Street ; necessary minimal repairs to the remaining roof structure where it had attached to the two-story building; and interior remodeling of the existing garage space. To the best of my � knowledge no changes were made to the actual roof structure during this recent work. With the two�story portion of the building removed, it is possible that the reduced quantity of snow coming off the roof will be a problem that you and Mrs. .Brewer can resolve. This building has been rebuilt since I purchased my property and now extends two feet or more toward mine. This makes it impossible for me to use my drive- way during the bad winter months. The snow and water from �hei� roof is all on my property which is not doing my foundation any good. The appiicant or owner agrees to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, regulations and all conditions ezpressed on this application which are part of these requirements, and also will allow all inspectors to enter the premises for the required inspections. The following regulations shall apply: I� A. Application must be filled in completely and submitted to Building Department. 6: Application must be accompanied by: 1. Plot plan showing lot dimensions; buildings on the lot and their distances to one another and to the lot lines; and a detailed description of the layout of the property. 2. Complete set of plans showing proposed construction and a complete set of specifications for this proposal. 3. Appropriate permit fee. C. Work covered by this application shall not commence prior to permit issuance.. D. Occupancy of a building or premises to which this application applies shall not occur prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy by this Department. E. Any deviation from the approved plans must be authorized by the approval. of revised plans subject to the same procedure establi5hed for the examination of the original plans. F. Building Department shall be �notified according'to the required schedule of inspections, which shall include but not be limited to: � 1. Foundation footings before pouring concrete. 2. Foundation before backfill. 3. Secure su.rveyor's location of foundation and submit to Building Department. 4. Plumbing, heating, framing and electrical before closing in of frame work. 5. Prior to any occupancy, final inspection for Certificate of Occupancy. G. All electrical work needs an inspection by and a certificate of compliance from the New York Board of Fire Underwriters. H.
