Part 1— Project and Sponsor Informatio Name of Action or Project: BA area variance request - Saratoga Pet Resort is seeking relief from 20' setback on North side of building to put a roof over existing fenced area Project Location (describe, and attach a location map): 320 Route 9, Saratoga Springs Brief Description of Proposed Action: Saratoga Pet Resort has existing chain link outdoor dog voiding yards. Applicant wishes to have MJ Engineering specify a code -compliant over-hang/roof to cover the existing outdoor dog voiding yards to protect from the elements. The chain link fence currently extends 15' outward from the middle portion of the north side of the building. We wish to have this overhang extend 1' north of the existing fence to keep more snow out of this area and to protect dogs from the sun. The fenced in area we wish to cover is +/- 95'x8' = 760 sq 'which equals .017 acres.
