HomeMy WebLinkAbout20240190 28 Aletta Public Comment (3) John Kurimski 47 Union Street Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 May 6, 2024 Dear Zoning Board of Appeals, I am in favor of seeing the neighborhood we live in cleaned up, and "beautified" if you may. However, I am not in favor of a structure that does not conform and is excessive. Our City has let developers and businesses such as Limited Liability Corporations (LLC's) get away with modifying the rules to benefit them. It has robbed the area of its charm and honestly moves further away from what Saratoga Springs is supposed to be, I'm not sure I understand what "hardship" is being claimed. It has been a single-family home for years with no issues from the previous owner. Aletta is already too congested. This proposal would choke off the lot and turn it into a "concrete jungle" (i.e. no green space). I'd like to see the planning/zoning board stick to the rules and not allow this to move forward. Again, happy to see it cleaned up, but not with a structure that does not conform. Sincerely, John Kurimski
