The following summarizes the comments followed by our responses. 1. Comment: Plans call out existing PVC sanitary and I IDPE storm pipe along Oak Street. Upon inspection of sanitary manhole west of project site the pipe appears to be VCP. Likewise, upon inspection of storm manhole east of the project site the pipe appears to be VCP. Response: The plans have been revised to call out existing VCP pipe for the sanitary sewer and storm sewer piping along Oak Street. 2. Comment: Sheet ED-1 notes pavement removal for sanitary sewer service and sump pump lateral connection. Sheet LMG-1,howiever, shows original design sump pump connection to catch basin at SW corner of Beekman & Oak. Eliminate sump pump connection from note on Sheet ED-1. Maintain sump pump connection as shown on Sheet LMG-1. If decision is made to connect to sanitary sewer on Oak Street, it can be managed as a field change. Response: Comment noted. The sump pump connection note on Sheet ED-1 has been renzoved and the original connection at the corner of Beekman ct Oak has been included on the site plans. 3. Comment: Has fire flow data been established for 12"water main relative to building needs of new building? Response: Fire flow data for the hydrant located on the 12"main at the corner of Washington Street and Beekman has been obtained and utilized for the water system needs of the building. The hydrant flow data has been included within the previously submitted water sewer letter report and indicates adequate capacity exists within the existing water system along the 12"waterline within Beekman Street. The water sewer letter report has been included within this submission for jour reference. 4. Comment: scale is unconventional and generally not standard practice. It will be allowed for this project, however, please utilize conventional engineers scale for future submission. Response: Comment noted. The intent of the 1"--6'scale was to utilize the 1"=60'scale located on the engineers scale as a 1"=10'scale would have provided a site plan that was unclear as the project parcel size is approximately 0.10+1- acres. Future submission will include conventional scales provided on a typical engineering scale. 2 of 2 65 Beekman Street Site Plan June 18, 2019 Attached will be a copy of the revised plan set for your review. If additional information is required, please contact our office at your earliest convenience.Thank you. Sincerely, LANSING ENGINEERING, PC 1411 Michael J. Bian ino, Senior Engineer CC:
