I have reviewed the renovation and new construction plans submitted by SD Atelier and wish the Design Review Board (DRB) to take the proximity and alignment of the Dublin Square townhomes into account during their review. Specifically, the backyards of 1 Dublin Square Lane, 3 Dublin Square Lane and 5 Dublin Square Lane townhomes which share a property line with 128 Washinton Street. The Dublin Square units have a small 8-foot backyard which face the east side yard of the proposed Unit #2. Therefore, maximizing the new construction setback is desirable to the DS homeowners, especially the two interior units, since natural light will most likely be reduced by the proposed new construction.
