HomeMy WebLinkAbout20230929 53 Putnam Mixed Use SPR Submittal memo 2024 02 23900 Route 146 Clifton Park, NY 12065 (P) 518.371.7621 edpllp.com MEMO Date: 2/23/2024 To: Susan Barden, AICP Principal Planner Sent Via Email Only Project: Putnam Commons Street Mixed-Use Development From: Nick Zeglen (EDP) In response to the February 22, 2024 Planning Board Workshop Meeting and in preparation of next weeks Planning Board Meeting regarding the above-mentioned project, please find the following information: • “Turning Analysis Plan” demonstrating the necessity of the 5’ radius at the transition from the 53 Putnam Street curb cut for garage truck access as well as the City of SS standard details for “Drop Curb at Commercial Driveway” • Right-of-Way Easement #2 as referenced on Sheet 3 of the “Existing Conditions” plan has been attached for additional information regarding the easement language. Specifically, page 370 which states “right to pass and repass at all times on foot, by vehicle, or otherwise, over and across the same” The right to pass and repass by vehicle necessitates the asphalt pavement within the easement area as it exists today, and the proposed asphalt pavement shown on the current site plans to maintain access for all involved parties • Revised Plans titled “Proposed Site Improvements for Putnam Commons” Dated February 23, 2024 updated to show a proposed bike rack located outside near the northeast corner of the proposed building
