Comments The proposed addition of straps into the building is superfluous
and unnecessary. The building already has direct access from
the sidewalk. Once the “barn door “ is opened others will come
forward making similar requests. Saratoga Springs has national
recognition for its street scape and inviting sidewalks. Why
thumb our nose at this recognition and special feature of our
city? This project is already an abomination with the design of
its two addition that is totally out of place along side of the other
buildings on the block. It’s so difficult to grasp the thinking
behind the decisions of the Planning Board and the Design
Review Committee.
