Comments No need for these steps at all. This building has existed for
several decades without a need for proposed steps, which
intrude upon - as well as and subtract and detract from - a
public right-of-way. And not just any public right-of-way, but our
beautiful, wide, historic Broadway to introduce an unnecessary
element that will increase crowding and create a potential
safety hazard. Beyond the lack of aesthetic appeal, I
wholeheartedly endorse the continuing objections of The
SAratoga Springs Preservation Foundation to the permanent
taking of the public right-of-way to gain entrance into a private
business when access into the building should be addressed
within the footprint of the building.
