Comments The proposed stairs/landing along broadway limit the existing
sidewalk expanse to have a bottle neck at this local. It also
doesn’t keep with the aesthetic of an expansive sidewalk
through Broadway. I would also like to voice concerns with the
accessibility of the stair blending into the ramped sidewalk at
the northern most portion. It may be beyond accessibility code,
but the grade change could easily be missed by an individual
navigating with a cane or in a wheelchair. As a member of the
design community, I feel it is our role to push our surroundings
to be more inclusive so all can enjoy the streetscape, especially
within Saratoga.
