Comments As a resident of Saratoga Springs and a member of the UU
congregation, I feel very positive about this project. I request
that Planning Board members look at the aerial view of Bog
Meadow and see that our project is not at all in the actual
neighborhood. Our plans for the UU Meeting House are to be
built on Louden Road, which is a highway with few homes and
a view of BJs and the Mall. The Wesley Administrative Offices
are already a nearby neighbor. Interestingly, as we visited the
nearby neighbors, closest to our intended property, four of
them were very positive about our plans. The other 2
homeowners were not at home. It was a surprise to us to hear
of the neighbors that were negative, especially since they all
live at the far reaches of Bog Meadow. In addition, three acres
of required Nature Conservancy lessens any impact of our
purchase to the area.. Churches enhance communities..
Please approve our SUP on January 11 so we might move
forward with our project.
