Comments I strongly support the permitting of this project. The proposed
fellowship hall will not impact the environment/water table any
more than a good sized 4 bedroom home, the UU community is
dedicated to being as 'green' as is fiscally possible, and they
are very good neighbors. The building will see larger groups of
people on Sunday mornings, and the occasional fellowship
events that one expects of a religious community. During the
week, the minister and administrator would be the constant
occupants, with occasional committee meetings of 3-10 people.
The impact on the neighborhood will be truly minimal, and the
congregation will be excellent stewards of the property. There
is a history of stewardship with the 624 N. Broadway property,
and no history of issues with our neighbors there.
