NOTICE OF DECISION
In the matter of the application

involving Modifications to an approval of Historic Review of a new single-family residence within the Urban
Residential - 3 District, tax parcel #165.66-2-70.1, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Commission classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the City Zoning Ordinance Article
240-7.5 Historic Review, the Design Review Commission issues the following decision on October 18, 2023:
Approve with the following conditions:
Remove Board and Batten and return to clapboard design
Remove gable venting and return to gable brackets
Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any necessary building permit has been
issued and actual work begun.
Record of vote: motion to approve made by L. DiCarlo, seconded by J. Gritsavage: passed 5-0-1
