Hi Susan, Attached is our comment response letter for the items included in the Laberge review letter that pertain to the Full EAF and SEQRA. Also attached is a revised copy of the Full EAF. I needed to revise the covertype areas in the table in Question E.1.b to address comment #24. Please also note that the project sponsor's address has changed and this has been updated on Page 1 of the EAF. Otherwise, there are no other changes to the EAF from what was originally submitted. Regarding the bat habitat item, I have confirmation that the habitat assessment field work will be completed prior to the 9/7 Planning Board meeting. We can provide the results of the assessment to the Board at the meeting. We will provide our responses to the other review comments in the next few weeks. Please let me know if you have any questions or if the Board has any requests for additional information. Hi Susan, I can get the EAF comments addressed by the end of this week. The only issue I see pertains to Laberge's final comment (#25) about the potential for protected bat habitat at the site. I have someone lined up to do a habitat assessment but it might not be completed by 9/7. Will that cause any problems? I noticed that there is a workshop meeting tomorrow night. In your opinion, is this something we should attend? Scott Lansing and I both have conflicts tomorrow evening but we can arrange for someone to attend if you recommend it. SPR Hi Michael, The Design Review Board has deferral of lead agency status to the Planning Board on their agenda next Wed., 9/6. After that, the Planning Board could consider SEQRA review Thurs., 9/7. You wouldn't be required to provide a response to technical comments and revised plans prior to the Board considering SEQRA, but there are several comments specific to the Full EAF, that should be addressed. It is not necessary that anyone attend the DRB meeting, but someone should attend the PB mtg. Do you think that you would be able to provide a response to the FEAF comments by end of this week? Hello Susan, I wanted to follow up on the voicemail I left you last week regarding the calculation of the fee for the site plan application for the West Ave & Station Lane project that we recently submitted preliminary plans for. Are we to apply the $150/1000 GSF component of the fee calculation to all occupied floors of the building (i.e. 1st floor with apartments, a restaurant, and retail space, floors 2-4 with only apartments) and disregard the basement level parking area? If this is the case, please confirm that the application fee is then calculated as: $800 + ($150 x ((4 x 23,597 SF footprint)/1000)) = $800 + ($150 x (94,388 GSF / 1000)) = $800 + ($150 x 94.388) = $14,958.20 I just wanted to confirm that I have the correct fee so we can avoid any confusion from needing to send you multiple checks.
