Project Timeline and Specifics
1) Landscaping plan was completed in January 2022
2) Received Oak Ridge HOA approval on the landscaping plan 5/27/22
3) Both our builder and landscaper were aware of our design plans and neither mentioned zoning conflict due to
side-corner lot designation. Both have stated they were not aware this fell under that regulation in Oak Ridge
PUD.
4) Submitted initial variance to the Saratoga Springs ZBA on 5/31/23 for the patio variance when our landscaper
informed us that this impeded on the 10' setback.
5) Our home was inspected for a CO on 6/28/23. We were notified that there were additional variances that we
needed to apply for. This was when we first became aware of the issue with our original plans and the corner
side lot designation
6) Meeting with ZBA on July 24t"- two requests made by the committee were:
a) Aerial view to show pools/hot tubs in immediate vicinity of home. Request is to show that it
would fit in with the neighborhood context
b) Consider moving the arbor due to the location close to the fence
