(Tectonic) is pleased to submit this “Mount Analysis Report” to determine the structural integrity of the above-mentioned antenna mount site. The purpose of the analysis is to determine the acceptability of the stress level of the proposed antenna mounts, connections, and supporting structure. Based on our analysis we have determined the mount stress level to be as follows: All Sectors: Sufficient This analysis has been performed in accordance with the 2020 New York State Building Code (IBC 2018) based upon an ultimate 3-second gust wind of 109 mph as required for use in the ANSI/TIA- 222-H-1-2019 Standard. Exposure Category C with a maximum topographic factor, Kzt, of 1.0 and Risk Category II were used in this analysis. This information was then used in conjunction with another program, RISA-3D, which is a commercially available analysis software package, used to check the supporting building framing and calculate member stresses for various loading cases. The selected output from the analysis is included in Appendix C and D. Rooftop Mount Analysis Report May 16, 2023 Project Number: 11860.097 3.2) Assumptions 1) The configuration of antennas, equipment, mounts, and other appurtenances are as specified in Table 1. 2) All member connections are assumed to have been designed to meet or exceed the load carrying capacity of the connected member unless otherwise specified in this report. 3) Steel grades have been assumed as follows, unless noted otherwise: Channel, Solid Round, Angle, Plate ASTM A36 (GR 36) Pipe ASTM A53 (GR 35) Connection Bolts ASTM A325 4) Maintenance loads not considered. Mount to be accessed via stand alone ladder on rooftop or other means. This analysis may be affected if any assumptions are not valid or have been made in error. Contractor shall field verify existing conditions and recommendations as noted on the construction drawings and notify the design engineer of any discrepancies prior to fabrication of steel . Any further changes to the antenna , equipment and/or appurtenance configuration should be reviewed with respect to their effect on structural loads prior to implementation.
