Summary Of The Meeting: On the morning of July 19, we had a cordial and constructive meeting with Sonny Bonacio and Brett Balzer. All parties seemed to be on the same page as to the protection of the Historic Views and maintaining the visual corridors along Fifth Avenue. Additionally, the owner of 70 Fifth Avenue was informed of the conversation and also expressed his agreement on protecting the sanctity of the views. With that said, we all decided to move forward with said project as approvals are met by the zoning board with open communication and transparency in a professional, constructive way. We also expressed preservation aspects of the original structure that is historically a mid century design. Assurance was given to the new structure being of the same size foot print. All parties also discussed Accessory Structures and as stated there would be NO ACCESSORY STRUCTURES placed to impede the original views. We all concluded that we would be open to any discussion and communication in future as it arises. We believe in everything discussed was based on truth and logic. THE GOAL for all parties is to maintain the integrity of the visual character and the historic landmark preservation. Attach Photo (optional)fifth.pages Email not displaying correctly?
