SARATOGA SPRINGS UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE, ENTITLED “PRINCIPAL USE DEFINITIONS AND
STANDARDS – HOMELESS SHELTER”
SECTION 1. A new subsection 8.4 (RRRR) (2)(f) of the Saratoga Springs Unified Development Ordinance,
adopted by Local Law No. 2 of 2022, is hereby enacted to read:
f. All homeless shelters shall be located a minimum of one thousand (1000) feet from the grounds of any
Educational Facility – Primary or Secondary.
SECTION 2. This Local Law shall take effect immediately upon filing in the office of the secretary of State
of the State of New York, in accordance with Section 27 of the Municipal Home Rule Law.
