NOTICE OF DECISION
IN THE MAI�fER OF THE SITE PLAN REVIEW APPLICATION �ZO22 I O65 OF

Involving the premises with tax parcel no. I 80.-4-24 in the City of Saratoga Springs, on an application for
site plan review of a proposed redevelopment of the existing Longfellow's hotel, restaurant and conference
center in the Interlaken PUD.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 6 I 7, the City Council issued a Negative SEQRA Declaration in I 982. In
reviewing the changes as part of this application the Board determined the following on April I 3, 2023:
C� Findin� that no new or different environment impacts likely would result as part of the application that were
not previously considered and therefore no further SEQRA review is warranted — passed 5-0 (Torpey, Pingel,
Fabozzi, Mayo, Marshall):
C� Approve site plan set dated November 22, 2022 with the followin� conditions— passed 5-0 (Torpey, Pin��
Fabozzi, Mayo, Marshall):
• Applicant shall add vegetative screening between the parking area and the front property
line to the final plan set. Subject to satisfaction of the Chair.
• Final plans shall be provided to the satisfaction of the City Engineer's Office and the City's
designated engineer for the project.
The applicant is required to:
■ Provide documentation of conformance with all required conditions of approval.
■ Deliver a letter of credit or cash escrow in the amount approved by the City Engineer to
the City. This must occur prior to final signature by the Planning Board Chair.
■ Submit one ( I ) electronic copy and two (2) paper copies of the final approved site plan set
for signature by the Planning Board Chair within ei hteen ( I 8) months of ap roval as per
Article I 3.5 of the Unified Development Ordinance.
Note: this approval shall expire within eighteen ( I 8) months of the signature of final plans if the applicant has not
started actual construction as per Article I 3.5 of the U DO.
