Comments My house is located at the corner of Adams Road and Larkspur
Drive, which I have learned is in close proximity to the site
being reviewed. My first question is why weren't we notified of
this matter by mail or why the ONE posting related to this
matter was not easily visible to the residents of the area (small
sign posted .25 mile down Adams Rd from our home). I would
think there would be strict rules related to notification of anyone
living within close proximity to a project of this size. My second
question is how will this impact the forestation and wildlife of
the area. We see and enjoy a number of deer, foxes, rabbits,
birds and other wildlife and would like to understand the impact
to their habitats since the amount of green space in Saratoga is
consistently diminishing. My third question is how this will
impact truck traffic on Adams Rd. The number of trucks that
pay no attention to the weight and size limits on Adams is
alarming - especially in winter. My fourth question relates to
property values for the homeowners near this site. We bought
our home and live here because of the views, the forest-like
feel and the calm community. My fifth question is why the
project has received tax supported funding when myself, as a
tax payer, do not want any of my tax dollars going towards
funding it. The proposed use of this site needs to be questioned
and these concerns need to be considered before any final
decisions are made.
Thank you for your time
