I am writing this letter to express my opposition to the Munter application to the Saratoga Springs Planning Board to turn 20 acres in the Industrial Park into a pipe factory. My concerns include: -Clear cutting all the way to Adams Rd. with only. 50 feet replant. It will take years for the replanted trees to mature to the growth that exists today. -The use is too intense for land that abuts Adams Rd. Properties . - This project will result in an increased amount of vehicle traffic to the park. -The project is not in concert with the Conservation Development District and does not respect residential neighborhoods. -I am greatly concerned about the potential negative impacts that this project will have on the Geyser Road Elementary School. -When is “enough” going to be considered by the Planning Board for the continued development at the Industrial Park? In closing I feel that the proposed project is non-compliant with the City’s Comprehensive Plan. Please require the applicant to submit a full Comprehensive Conservation Analysis.
