Comments Very concerned about the increased traffic and overall increase
in noise on this side of town. Another concern is the removal of
trees along Adams road, especially across from those who
reside on adams road and whose homes are directly across
from there. If a berm is put in it should be the highest
possible… 8 ft or more. A retaining wall should also be put in
place that fits in with the natural environment and allows for the
most protection from sound . I understand that this is zoned for
industrial businesses however as a resident on this side of
town the noise level has increased tremendously over the
years. Truck breaks coming down geyser road, helicopters at
numerous times if the day via the airport, jets in the
summertime flying into the airport during track season. The
industrial park sounds add to all of this. As for Adams road I
would like to see the following considered as part of this
project: removal of the gravel sidewalk and a completed
cement sidewalk connecting the neighborhoods in Rowland
hills east to the geyser school via adams. I believe we need
more speed signs on adams. I would also recommend signage
of some sort or possibly a light where adams meets Larkspur..
cars coming out of larkspur often cannot see an approaching
car in either direction. The evergreen pointe neighborhood is
often used as a cut through for many employe of the
businesses in the Industrial park. I would like to see sign placed
from geyser and Adan’s that state No cut through or local
residents only.there are two stop signs in our neighborhood
and most people never stop at them. We hope you consider
and implement these improvements for the sake of our
neighborhood.
