If the intent of planting shrubbery closely to eachother between private properties is to establish a live/green privacy wall then I just assume to allow it. I also see that there are 19 American Hornbeams proposed on the site, including one in the City ROW. I would prefer to see a different species than Am Hornbeam. Maybe just another Shadblow. Lastly, was there a tree survey completed for this project? I know there is one large mature Oak along the road on Richard Ave that I am interested to know if it is being removed and if it sits within City ROW. The Chair is concerned about the spacing of the trees and shrubs between lots 1 and 2. The UDO says 30 ft. between deciduous trees and 3 ft. between shrubs in the treebelt. Should we use this for on-site trees too? Thanks!! Susan B.
