To the Planning Board of Saratoga Springs,
I am the Pastor of Saratoga Abundant Life Church and a direct neighbor to the
proposed STAND Intentional Community. It is clear to me that the mission of the
STAND Intentional Community aligns with the values that we believe in and the
standards we support.
The STAND team has clearly thought through the many challenges of creating long
term affordable home ownership while developing an authentic supportive community.
In my work in Saratoga County and beyond, we see the struggles of individuals who
are striving to make ends meet, seeking to provide safe, stable homes for themselves
and their families. A creative small endeavor like this can become a pilot project with
the potential for even greater impact.
We look forward to having good neighbors that care for the land and each other and
can contribute to Saratoga Springs.
