Environmental Assessment Form:
All applications must include a completed SEQR Short or Long Form. SEQR Forms can be completed at http://

Water Service Connection Agreement- For all projects including new water connections to the City system,
a copy of a signed water service connection fee agreement with the City Department of Public Works is
required and MUST be submitted with this application.

RE: Hutchins Road Community – Water Service
Dear Ms. Barden:
The existing house on the proposed Hutchins Road Community project site is currently serviced by the
Village of Ballston Spa. Through phone conversations, the Village of Ballston Spa has indicated that the
necessary potable water infrastructure to service the project is available along Route 50. As a condition to
final site plan approval, the applicant shall complete the necessary permitting requirements with the Village
of Ballston Spa Water Department and therefore a water service agreement with the City of Saratoga
Springs is not applicable for the project. A will-serve letter will be provided to the City of Saratoga Springs
once received.
