I am a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs and currently reside at 135 Nelson Avenue. I have been informed of Witt Construction's plans to build two single family homes on lots 1&2 at 110-114 Nelson Avenue. I am unable to attend the Zoning Board of appeals meeting on Monday,January 23, 2023 so I would like to state my support of the above proposed project and would like this noted in the Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting. As a resident of Saratoga Springs, I have seen not only the continuous rise in tourism of our charming town. But, also the migration of people looking to call Saratoga Springs their home.With this, comes the addition and construction of new homes amongst our existing historical properties and architecture. As you stroll through Saratoga Springs to admire the uniqueness of each home, some that have been standing for hundreds of years,you will see a Witt Construction home nestled into our West Side Historic District and East Side neighborhoods.Witt Construction homes are tastefully and thoughtfully designed.Truly adding architectural character and aesthetic to our beloved town.There is no doubt that the proposed homes will enrich our neighborhood,while still protecting the architectural integrity of our streetscape. We believe the development in our neighborhood would be suitable and have a positive inherent effectto the value of the surrounding homes. Witt construction is an exemplary builder and we look forward to the development of the aforementioned property and endorse this without any reservation or concerns.
