Dear Brad;
The subject project involves the current construction of a 3-car garage attached to the rear of the
existing house. This project has been before the Design Review Commission three times to date.
The first approval was for the building itself, the second approval was for the location of a
cupola on the roof deck and the third approval was for the addition of an exterior roof-deck-to-
grade exterior stair at the east end of the building. The first, #2017.105, was approved on
10/23/17. The second, #2017.105.1, was approved on 1/3/18. The third, #2017.105.2, was
approved on 6/27/18.
This application is for a modification that consists of the addition of a pergola on the roof deck
that will be attached to an existing portion of the house second floor, and the removal of the
originally proposed west exterior roof-deck-to-grade exterior stair. Attached with this application
are a plan and elevation of the approved garage showing the proposed pergola added. Also
included is the Notice of Decision for each of the approvals.
