The proposed 6 story building is not in any way in keeping with the character of the buildings around it in either style nor height. The height is particularly offensive as it towers over the historic buildings next to it. The city has allowed too many apartment buildings that aren't in keeping with the historic charm of the neighboring buildings and usually soar 2 or more stories about the neighboring buildings creating a visually inconsistent and disruptive view of the street they are on. What is wrong with requiring developers to stick to strict height limits and exteriors that incorporate elements of historic Saratoga builidngs? Attach Photo (optional) Field not completed.
